Whenever the fog rolls in, the creature he becomes is still horse like in the front half, but from the 'waist' area back, his form is created by a mass of seaweed-like tendrils. He can still walk by forming them into his rear legs but since he generally will stick to water in this form, he uses them to move in an almost octo-pus like manner.
Fins sprout from behind his jaw on either side of his head as well as at each elbow on his forelegs, small spurs at the end of each ridge. A small ridge of a dorsal fin sprouts from his neck and back, starting at the base of his neck and going to mid back, just before his body morphs into tentacles.
Instead of the flattened, crushing teeth that a horse may normally have, Fitz has two rows of razor sharp, shark-like teeth during the fog. His mouth splits open wider to allow for this change in jaw structure. (Think a horse with a dog-like mouth. Yeah. Yeah.) He has his tendrils during the fog as well but they are more tentacle like now but instead of suction cup like additions there are lamprey mouths on the end of each of them. (Six in total in this form.)
In this form, the runes he received several months ago are visible as well, scarred into his chest, stomach and abdomen. (X) (X)
