Jemma stood at the door of the lab watching him for a long moment. She hadn't wanted to leave the way that she did, but she didn't really have a choice.

She finally screwed up enough courage and entered the room.

"Fitz?"

Fitz hadn't really been himself since Jemma left but, then again, no one had expected him to be. There was something about having brain damage and then losing the person that meant the most to you that really did a number on a person.

Which was why he had clung so much to the friendship Mack had offered and even the friendship that Hunter had given him.

Startling when he hears his name, Leo turns, staring at Jemma as he tries to process whether or not she's real.
