One of his best friends and one of three people he trusts wholeheartedly in Ryslig. They've had some disagreements as of late but Fitz cares about Skye above all else, even if he's upset with her. They've seem to come to terms with one another and made amends for their disagreement, much to Fitz's relief, and things are slowly getting back to normal between them. He hasn't completely realized it yet but his feelings for Skye go beyond that of just friendship; he's just far too mangled in the emotion department to put it together at the moment.
Her recent death has brought a new light to his feelings for her, though he's a bit unsure what to do about it because of his feelings for Bucky.
Just kidding. He loves them both and that's all that matters to him.
"And I look at you, and I see me, Making noise so restlessly, But now it's quiet and I can hear you saying, 'My little fish don't cry, my little fish don't cry.'" -Paolo Nutini
While he was initially terrified of the fact that Ward was trapped in this godforsaken place with them, he's grown to trust the other man all over again. They have a bit of a common ground, both accepting their fates as monsters, and it's made it easier for Fitz to reconnect with him. There'll always be a bit of fear that he can't shake when it comes to Ward but he trusts him almost as much as he trusts Skye these days.
With Rumlow now in ryslig as well, Fitz can't help but worry that Ward will give into temptation and fall back into his HYDRA ways. He hopes that won't be the case but fear is a hard thing to shake.
"Is it too late to come on home? Are all those bridges now old stone? Is it too late to come on home?" -Florence + The Machine
It was a bit hard to grasp the fact that Coulson had ended up trapped in Ryslig with them but Fitz is, ultimately, glad that the older man is there. He looks up to Coulson quite a bit and the director is yet another person that can help keep him grounded as he toes the line of craziness. He feels more like his old self in the other's presence but that may have to do with the fact that he hasn't started to change much yet.
An extremely deadly former HYDRA operative that is heart-breakingly sad to talk to. Fitz wants to help him in any way that he can and he's told Bucky as much. There's something about the other that he feels he can relate to and he's more than willing to do whatever he can to help Bucky learn how to function on his own again. After the truth event, he's even more inclined to spend as much time as possible with the other. Assuming Bucky is okay with that. Which he seems to be since he definitely kissed Fitz recently; something that said kelpie definitely approves of.
And as of late he's realized that he most definitely loves Bucky. And Skye. All the love.
"Some days I don't know if I am wrong or right--Your mind is playing tricks on you, my dear." -Of Mice and Men
He's still a bit unsure about her but she's done nothing but help them since they all met and started to live together. She's extremely smart, though, which is something he greatly admires. Fitz is well aware that he, Skye and Ward owe her a lot and he is more than happy to do whatever she may ask of him.
Fitz killed him once. By accident. Sort of. The guy's really weird, okay? Especially with his creepy sex-bot android servant. He's taken to calling him "Uncle" whenever he can and using as many hashtags as humanly possible since Fitz knows that Chilton despises it.
Another individual that he'd been hoping wouldn't end up in Ryslig. He cares deeply for Jemma and would do just about anything for her, which is why he's made it his goal to make sure nothing terrible happens to here while they're stuck in this place. (Though he's well aware that he can't stop the changes from happening. He'll at least help her through them where he can.) A part of him still isn't sure how to act around her, since one of the last things he remembers from home is her not being there. Time heals all wounds though, right?
The more he interacts with Reira, the more protective Fitz gets. He hadn't really been sure what to make of the kid at first, given he came off kind of creepy initially, but he has a soft spot for the little guy now and will do just about anything to help him. He knows there's a lot about Reira's home that he's unaware of and things that he might not ever understand but that's not going to stop Fitz from encouraging Reira to be his own person and do what he wants instead of always following orders.
They were torture/pit buddies together during the whole Rota thing. And before that Leo had encouraged him to be a terrible monster. So he's good people. A horrible influence..but good people.
Talk about a broken individual. The other was put through Ramsay's torture well before Fitz was and he feels a connection to the other because of it--but something about Theon is also extremely off putting.
Having initially bonded with her, in a sense, over their like naga states, Fitz finds her to be very intriguing. She has a lot of scientific knowledge and comes from a world unlike anything he's ever heard of before and he desperately wants to know more about her and said world.
He finds her very easy to talk to and isn't all that awkward in her presence. He feels like he can be himself around her and she won't judge, which is nice.
He doesn't know her overly well yet but he considers her a friend and she is one of their housemates. She was close to Ward and while his own history with Ward is a little rocky, he can't fault her for having admired the other. (Because once upon a time he had as well.)
While he hasn't had a lot of interactions with Peggy yet, mostly because he's far too shy to actually speak to her most of the time, Fitz thinks the world of her. She's a legend, as far as he's concerned, and there's really nothing that she can do wrong. There's a strength about her that he's in awe of and an intelligence that makes him feel a bit inadequate at times.
Crow has been an interesting individual to get to know. They aren't close or anything like that, but Fitz finds the other intriguing and very easy to be around--which is saying a lot considering he's overly skittish. He's offered a lot of good advice to Fitz over the past few months and went as far as to assist him, Jemma and Loki in their expedition to the Franfalle Line.
There's potential for a solid friendship there, assuming Crow doesn't mind having the kelpie around.
Another individual that accompanied Fitz and co on their trip to the Franfalle Line. He doesn't know much about this version of Loki but he seems to be far more sane than the one he's familiar with from home.
